The Arab Film Institute post-production grant will support 4 film projects

The deadline for applications is 1 August 2017.

The Arab Film Institute (AFI), founded recently in 2016, is now accepting applications for the AFI post-production grant, which will offer support to four feature films (fictional/narrative and non-fiction) entering the post-production stage.

The grant will be rewarded in the form of free-of-charge post-production services. These services may include: colour grading, title credits and/or online facilities, offered by Beirut-based Pixelmob and Dubai-based Mile Studios post-production companies.

The contribution is limited to a maximum of two weeks’ work for both fiction and non-fiction projects, and may not exceed the proposed timeframe.

The call is open to filmmakers, producers, or production companies from Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, UAE, Qatar Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain registered as members at the Arab Film Institute. Membership is free for students; 40 USD is asked for individuals and 1000 USD for corporate entities. To become a member now, please click here.
