Being active in the field of media and communication, Zeina has worked as a film director at Shashat Festival, PR assistant at the Press and PR office of the Ministry of Information, TV reporter and producer for Awdeh TV and is currently the project coordinator in an animation company in Palestine. Houna aShabab has helped her identify her next step in the world of both her passion and expertise. She believes that cultural policies act as shields against scattered cultural work, “Let’s change the system, to resolve a bit of the chaos that we exist in”.

The video shows the importance and necessity of the involvement of young Arab cultural operators from the south Mediterranean countries in Med Culture’s actions by providing them with a platform that allows for them to voice a reflection of their realities as the name of the group demands, and offers them the necessary tools for their personal and professional development.

This is the 3rd  Video of a series of 6 that Med Culture will publish on a monthly basis, it was filmed during Houna aShabab’s 3rd and last workshop, in Amman-Jordan, during 15-17 July, 2016 to particularly examine “Cultural Policies and the Value of Cultural Projects” and shed some light on the interaction between cultural operators and their overall cultural and political environments.
